奥米加脂肪酸魚油 Omega Fatty
ω−3脂肪酸(Omega-3 fatty acids)又稱n−3脂肪酸,是一類不飽和脂肪酸。由於從分子中距離羧基最遠的甲基碳數起時,這一類化合物均具有第三個碳原子與第四個碳原子之間的雙鍵(即第三根鍵為雙鍵),因此稱為ω−3脂肪酸,其中ω是指離羧基最遠的碳原子。
重要的ω−3必需脂肪酸包括α-亞麻酸、二十碳五烯酸、二十二碳六烯酸,這三者均為多不飽和脂肪酸。人體內無法從頭合成ω−3脂肪酸,但可以使用十八碳的ω−3脂肪酸α-亞麻酸作為原料,合成二十碳的不飽和ω−3脂肪酸(如EPA)及二十二碳的不飽和ω−3脂肪酸(如DHA)。上述反應與ω−6脂肪酸的合成反應互為競爭反應,後者是從亞油酸衍生出的脂肪酸。ω−3與ω−6脂肪酸均為必須從食物中獲取的必需營養素 |

魚類,植物,堅果。EPA及DHA被發現在冷水魚類,如鮭魚,鯖魚,大比目魚,沙丁魚,金槍魚,鯡魚。 ALA是存在於亞麻籽,亞麻籽油,菜籽油(油菜)油,大豆,豆油,南瓜子,南瓜子油,馬齒莧,紫蘇籽油,核桃,核桃油。其他來源的ω- 3脂肪酸包括海洋生物,如磷蝦和藻類。

Dietary Sources:
Fish, plant, and nut oils are the primary dietary source of omega-3 fatty acids. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are found in cold-water fish such as salmon, mackerel, halibut, sardines, tuna, and herring. ALA is found in flaxseeds, flaxseed oil, canola (rapeseed) oil, soybeans, soybean oil, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin seed oil, purslane, perilla seed oil, walnuts, and walnut oil. Other sources of omega-3 fatty acids include sea life such as krill and algae.
